Remigia "Remy" N. Basco, age 65, a resident of West Chicago, IL, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born November 8, 1952 in Mapandan, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Remy loves to sing, crochet, sew, travel and trying out new things. She loves to smile and laugh. She was very humble, warm hearted and would always welcome you and make you feel part of the family.

Remy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Reynaldo; her two children, Dianne (Howard) Hill of El Paso, TX, and Jesusa (David) Feerst of Wilsonville, OR; and soon to be two grandchildren; her sisters, Veronica, Gloria, Epiginia and Evangeline; her brothers Ruby, James, Jesus, Marcelo Jr, and Christopher; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelo and Pelagia; her brothers Roberto and Arthur.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4-7:30 p.m. Prayer service to start at 7:30 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Visiting with the family will continue after the service.
