Obituary
Raymond J. Link, age 70, a resident of Bloomingdale, died Sunday, November 27, at home. He was born November 19, 1935 in Chicago.
Ray met his beloved wife while serving in the Army in Virginia. They were married on August 1, 1959. They then settled in the Chicago area and raised a family. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia; his three children, Betty (Bob) Sychowski of Seminole, FL; Raymond J. Link, Jr. of Addison, and Diane Link of Chicago; three grandchildren, Dennis (Angie) Drygal, Michelle (Robert) McKinney, Bryan (Valerie) Drygal; two great-grandchildren, Joey and Summer; and his dog, Max.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William; and his sister, Dorothy.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, from 3-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181; or to the American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
