Ralph P. Miller, age 88, a 60 year resident of Wheaton, died Thursday, March 6, 2008. He was born in Chicago, January 4, 1920 to Henry and Elizabeth Miller.

He served in World War II in the U.S. Army in Europe and North Africa rising to the rank of Captain. He and his wife, Helen, were married July 10, 1943. After forty years in banking in Chicago, he retired in 1982 as executive vice-president and director of the LaSalle National Bank. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton for over 50 years and served as a church trustee.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen, two daughters, Laura Haule, and Dr. Lois (Dr. James Lava) Miller, seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; and his sister Lois Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Margaret McNeill, and two brothers, Alfred, and Charles Miller.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL
