Ralph J. Gregory, age 88, a long time resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. He was born on June 28, 1922 in Chicago.

In 1945, Ralph married Corinne Hartneck in Berwyn, IL while he was serving in the military during WWII. They moved to Wheaton in 1953 where he has been a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his children, Kenneth (Jody) Gregory of Aloha, OR, Janice (Joe) Nesbitt of Wheaton, Diane Bottoms of South Elgin, and Ron (Jill) Gregory of Wheaton, 12 grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Joseph, Angelica, Daniel, Timothy, Aaron, Michelle, Jamie, Matthew, Krystle, and Cody and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cirinne: and brother, Warren Gregory.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., in Wheaton, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the St. John Lutheran Church.
