Ralph E. Boersma, age 75, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor, and missionary. A resident of Naperville, IL, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born January 26, 1940 in Holman, WI.

Ralph graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College. He went onto pastor a church in Ladysmith WI, and then started four churches as a missionary. Ralph served as a member on many boards to further the cause for missions, sharing Christ and helping people.

Ralph was really a farmer and engineer at heart which served him well in acquiring land from farmers before the big developers could snatch it up, engineered the land and then was the architect to building the church. He loved to figure things out and enjoyed working hard.

Right up until his last days, he showed his love to his wife of 55 years, Karen Boersma by flirting with her and showing that he loved her above all others. He desired legacy of living, loving and serving Christ will be felt forever through those surviving: children Vern (Patty) Boersma, Mark (Rosanna) Boersma, Kerry Boersma, Daniel (Apryl) Boersma, Kenneth (Emily) Boersma, Kimberly (David) Bina: grandchildren, Jillynn (Kurt) Fisher, Josh (Molly) Boersma, Nate (Hannah) Boersma, Caleb, GingerAnne (Joshua) Collins, Jonathan, Melissa, Katrina, Angela, Benjamin, Timothy, AJ, Brianna, Olivia, Stephen, Luke, Peter, Paul, Katie, Becka, Tory: great-grandchildren Brecken, Henley, Beau, Daniel, Trevor, Maverick.

He was preceded in death by parents Willard and Leone Boersma, his daughter Kristy, his siblings Russell and Margaret.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9:30 A.M. until the start of the funeral service to be held at 10:30 A.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3S465 Briggs Street, Naperville, IL 60563. Interment will follow services at Warrenville Cemetery in Warrenville, IL.
