Raimund C. "Ray" Radeke, age 92, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Wynscape Nursing Home in Wheaton, IL. He was born December 5, 1924 in Peru, IL.

Ray worked many years in the Boy Scouts organization. He was a member of the Wheaton Rotary Club, a volunteer for the Wheaton Police Department, and a member of the Wheaton AARP Income Tax Preparation Team. Ray and his wife Geraldine enjoyed traveling with their camper to National Parks across the United States and Canada.

He is survived by his nephew, Ronald (Susan) Radeke of Abingdon, IL; his sister-in-law, Gloria LaRocca; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine L. Radeke, nee Tracy; his father, Raimund Radeke; his mother, Mattie Radeke, nee Hayden; and his brother, Ronald H. Radeke.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of a funeral to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
