Pushp Kamal, aged 61, a long term resident of Wheaton IL, died at home on Monday, 21 May 2018. The son of late Dr P.C. Das and late Mrs Saroj Das, Pushp was born in Lucknow and grew up in Kolkata, India. A brilliant student, he received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India and advanced Masters degrees in Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and Miami University in Oxford, OH. During an illustrious career spanning three decades, he taught in Universities and worked for various blue chip companies in the field of Manufacturing, Market Research & Analytics. An accomplished percussionist, music formed an important part of his life and he played the drums and tabla for bands in India and USA. He was also a keen cricketer and represented his school and university. Pushp will always be remembered for his quick wit, his hearty laugh, his zest for life, his generous nature and his unflinching love for his family.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Audrey Saroj Kamal, brother Neel Chaurasia, sister Sangeeta Chaurasia, sister-in-law Ishanti Chaurasia, nephews Sandeep Chaurasia & Rohan Chaurasia and nieces Priyanka Chaurasia & Krittika Chaurasia.

Memorial services will be held in India at a future date.
