IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Priscilla "Pat"
June Ward Duhey
December 23, 1928 – October 13, 2020
Priscilla "Pat" J. Duhey, age 91, a resident of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away October 13, 2020. She was born December 23, 1928 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Raymond and Irma Ward.
Pat was raised in Lynn, Massachusetts maintaining her Boston accent throughout her life. She was a beautiful piano player, loved singing, and was an avid walker as well. She loved watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. She was able to see her beloved Cubs win the World Series in 2016; and until last year, played Duhey Pigskin Pick'em as "Nana Bear," often winning. She loved animals, especially dogs. She also had a great fondness for nature and the Morton Arboretum, and continued to visit and support them every opportunity she had. Pat was a strong, independent woman who not only reared three children, but also graduated from Lynn Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She became a very dedicated and well-respected Director of Nurses then Administrator at Parkway Terrace in Wheaton, Illinois, and moved onto Administrator at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, Illinois until her retirement. Pat was a faithful servant to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, and a devoted member of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois. We praise God she's with Him now.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Grace) Allyson of Temple City, California, June (John) Clark of Boise, Idaho, Philip (Tedda) Duhey of Mission Viejo, California, and daughter-in-law Sarah Allyson of Santa Clarita, California; five grandchildren, Erika (Brandon) Darr, Patrick Allyson, Kirstyn (Steph) Pellmann, Jacob Duhey, and Sean Duhey; and great-grandchildren Adelynn Pellmann and Liam Darr, with another on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Marjorie Ward, and her sister and brother-in-law Betty and William Herald.
A private burial will take place at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, Massachusetts.
