Phyllis L. Yattone, age 90, a resident of Victory Centre in Bartlett, IL, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024.  She was born May 31, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Norman & Leah Welling.

Phyllis grew up in Downers Grove.  When her family moved to Chicago she attended Schurz High School where she played the trombone in the school band.  After high school, she got married, settled in Chicago and raised four children.  Phyllis was a loving mother who adored her children.  She enjoyed bowling, bingo, game shows and having a good time with family and friends. She and her husband, Neil, attended Lutheran Church of the Master in Carol Stream, Illinois until they moved to Florida in 2000.

She is survived by her children Linda Craig, Ann (David) Hickey, Audrey Olson & James Cwiertnia; her grandchildren: Darryl (Becky) Craig, Dawn Stewart, Damian Craig & Tim Hickey; and her 13 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Neil and her brother Robert Welling.

A celebration of life service will be held the Lutheran Church of the Master, 580 Kuhn Rd., Carol Stream, IL 60188, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Lutheran Church of the Master.
