Obituary
Phoebe N. Taylor, age 82, a former longtime resident of Elmhurst, died Wednesday, August 25, at the Belmont Village Retirement Community in Carol Stream. She was born September 16, 1921 in Princeton, IL.
Mrs. Taylor was a church secretary for many years at the Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; her three sons, James, John (Kristine), and Jeffrey (Karen); and her four grandchildren, James, Robert, Katie, and David.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Alice Nichols; and her sisters, Jane and Ann.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, at 11:00 A.M. at the Christ United Methodist Church, 920 Swain, in Elmhurst.
Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be directed to the church at the above address.
