Obituary

With heavy hearts and unwavering hope in Christ, we announce that Philip S. LoChirco of Warrenville, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2026, at the age of 24.

Born on August 6, 2001, in Hinsdale, Illinois, Phil was the beloved son of Philip and Kenia LoChirco, devoted husband to Emily, cherished brother to Isabella and Giovan, and a loyal friend to many whose presence deeply impacted those around him.

Phil was a man of deep faith whose life reflected his love for Jesus Christ. Known for his humility, integrity, and servant’s heart, he made people feel welcomed, encouraged, and valued.

After graduating from Yorkville High School, Phil attended Wheaton College, where he played defensive line for the football team and formed lifelong friendships through the Wheaton football brotherhood. During his time there, he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit through his sandwich business, Chirc Subs, and shared his faith through his Bible study Instagram account, Holy Rollers.

Phil’s passion for serving and mentoring others extended beyond college. He served as a coach, leader, and mentor to junior high and high school students at Wheaton Academy and the Plano area, encouraging growth and leading by example in his role as sales manager at State Farm.

Phil loved people deeply and cherished his family and friends. He loved his wife, Emily, with his whole heart. He also enjoyed playing Machi Koro and Monopoly Deal, and was the “game master,” always making up house rules that brought people together.

Phil will be remembered for his steadfast faith, generous spirit, infectious enthusiasm, and the countless lives he touched. Though his family and friends grieve deeply, they find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that Phil is at peace in the presence of his Savior and building the greatest Lego creation of all time.

His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Emily; his parents, Philip and Kenia LoChirco; his siblings, Isabella and Giovan; his grandparents, Philip and Kathy LoChirco and Sergio and Dania Del Nodal, and many loving relatives and friends, including his Wheaton football brotherhood.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 6:30 at Christ Presbyterian Church at 371 S. Schmale Rd, Carol Stream, IL 60188. The family will greet guests beginning at 5:30 p.m. A meal and time of fellowship will follow the service, and all who knew and loved Phil are warmly invited to join in celebrating his life and sharing memories together.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wheaton Football Ministry Partnership (WFMP), honoring Phil’s love for his football family and his faith.
