Peggy Ann Hodges, age 84, a resident of Carol Stream, and former resident of Hurst, Illinois, died October 12, 2013, at Alden Valley Ridge in Bloomingdale. She was born May 22, 1929 in Fredricktown, Missouri to William and Lillian White.

Peggy was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Hurst. She worked for Illinois Bell in Chicago.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Jim (Linda) Hodges of Blue Berll, Pennsylvania, William (Mary) Hodges of Wheaton, and Gary Hodges of Naples, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her brother, William Floyd White, of Wheeling. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy, her parents, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Gary Memorial United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main, Wheaton, Illinois 60187. Interment was private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, in Elwood, Illinois.
