Paula A. Kurka, age 61, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away, Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born December 31, 1960 in Oak Park, IL.

Paula was a 1991 graduate of Illinois State University and worked for many years in mortgage lending industry culminating as a Division Operations Manager. She had a passion for helping people and taking care of animals. A generous and true friend to her family and colleagues, she will be missed by many.

She is survived by her mother, Pavla Peroutka; her brother Miroslav (Bonnie) Kurka; her niece and nephews Michaela (Jereme) Kemp, Matthew Kurka & Andrew Stanley; and her great-nephew Harrison Kemp.

She was preceded in death by her father Miroslav Kurka and her step-father Vaclav Peroutka.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
