Paul Kasper, age 64, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Born on June 23, 1949 Paul spent the first 18 years of his life in Park Ridge before enlisting with the United States Air Force. For four years he served his country proudly during the Vietnam War. Returning to the States Paul went back to work for Continental Airlines (now United Airlines). He took pride in his work and loved his job. When his children were younger he shared his passion for the airport with them by bringing them to see the airplanes. After 49 years with the airline Paul retired. In his spare time Paul enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and working around the yard and house. He valued his family above all and always went out of his way to help any way he could. Paul's kind heart and fun-loving personality touched many people throughout his life. He had a charismatic nature about him that put people at ease. He will be missed by many.

Paul is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy Kasper; three loving children, Joy (fiancé Haris Bijedic) Kasper, Richard (Danielle) Kasper, and Michael Kasper; two adorable grandchildren, Genna and Jameson; his proud mother, Lucile Kasper; four wonderful siblings, Kathy (Gary) Miller, Peter (April) Kasper, Jim Kasper and Joan O'Mara; and many playful nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Kasper.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St, in Wheaton, IL. The family will receive guests after the service until 3:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
