Paul W. Johnson's Obituary
Paul W. Johnson, age 72, a resident of Bloomingdale, IL died Thursday, April 11 at the Central DuPage Hospital. He was born June 9, 1940 in Joliet to William and Esther Johnson. He grew up in Wheaton and graduated from Wheaton Christian Grammar School and Wheaton High School in 1958.
Paul was well know at Wheaton Bible Church, where he served as a greeter for many years.
He is survived by Wendell (Lois) Johnson of Melrose Park; his sister, Carolyn McVeigh of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Solveig in 2008, and his parents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., in West Chicago. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Wheaton Bible Church, Global Outreach, 27W500 North Avenue, West Chicago, IL 60185.
