Paul A. Gillespie, age 70, a resident of West Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  He was born July 3, 1955 in Chicago, IL.

Paul lived in Villa Park for 51 years before moving to West Chicago in 2006. He retired in 2008 after 28 years of service with Unilever Food Products. Paul had a deep love for animals and nature. He found joy in spending time outdoors, tending to his yard, and working on cars.  More than anything, Paul loved connecting with and talking with people - he had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Kimberly; his sister Deborah Gillespie Swan; his sisters-in-law Lori Dworak & Linda (Michael) Sherman. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John & Anne Gillespie.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.
