Patrick Gerard Yep, age 62, a longtime resident of Winfield, IL, died Saturday October 29th 2022. He was born in Elmhurst , IL, on May 11th 1960 to James Y ep and Shirley ( Keith ) Yep.

In his earl y years, Patrick lived in Lombard, later moving to Winfield , IL and was a graduate of West Chicago High School. He married Terese Dwyer on March 6th, 1990 and they had two daughters , Jessie and Sarah. He worked in plastics manufacturing, the moving industry, and later learned skills in various labor trades, including carpentry and landscaping.

Patrick was a 'jack of all trades' who valued hard work and loved spending time with his friends and family. He was appreciated by his loved ones for his ability to bring people together and make friends wherever he went. He was incredibly loyal to those he cared about and loved to help anyone that needed it.

He is survived by his daughter Jessie, wife Terese, Aunt Mary Ellen , and siblings: Tim (Mary), Chris (Mary Anne), Deb (Jim) Dean, Mike, John (Barb), Mark (Patty), Tracy (Matt) Duhig, and Mindy. He is also survived by 34 nephews and nieces .

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah in 2001; parents, Shirley and James Yep , sister Cassie Olson , and great nephew Joshua Johnson .

Visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday November 3rd, 2022. Prayers will be held Friday, November 4th at 2:00 p .m. at the funeral home followed by a mass at 2:30 pm. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 0S233 Church Street, Winfield, IL.

Interment and final prayers will follow at Assumption Cemetery located in Wheaton IL.
