Patricia C. Whittenhall-Orr Funeral services for Patricia C. Whittenhall-Orr, 72, of Eastman and Bagley, Wis., will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 23, at Grace Community Bible Church in Keeneyville, Ill., with Pastor David Sunday officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of services. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin, Ill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Seneca United Methodist Church in Seneca, Wis. Born Nov. 14, 1934, in Russellville, Ark., the daughter of John and Ruth (Burris) Hettel, she passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at her home. She married James Whittenhall Sr. on Aug. 2, 1951, in Butterfield, Mo. He preceded her in death March 29, 2002. She married Donald Orr Nov. 19, 2005. Pat was a devoted mother and active in politics, her church and community. She enjoyed her membership in the Seneca Cactus Club, Girl Scouts and the PTA. She is survived by her husband, Donald Orr of Bagley; daughters, Barbara Blake of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Nancy (Brian) Gifford of Glen Mills, Pa.; sons, James Jr. (Diane) Whittenhall of Cary, Ill., Thomas (Gale) Whittenhall of Carol Stream, Ill., Phillip (Pamela) Whittenhall of Genoa, Ill., and Patrick (Colette) Whittenhall of Bartlett, Ill.; stepsons, Carl Orr of Prairie du Chien and Alan Orr of Bagley; a stepdaughter, Pam Hoffman of Bagley; brother, Harry Hettel of California; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Schwegel; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
