Patricia J. O'Connor, age 78, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born May 24, 1933 in Bloomington, IL.

Pat grew up in Peoria, IL and was a 1955 graduate of Bradley University and a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. She loved the Cubs and the Kane County Cougars.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert; her two children, Jennifer (James) Rowe of Evanston, IL, and Chris (Lisa) of Shrewsbury, MA; five grandchildren, Megan (Robert) Henrich, TJ and Beth Rowe, and Katie and Alex O'Connor; her great-grandson, Robby Henrich; her sister, Kay (Hal) Barber of Titusville, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
