Obituary
Patricia N. Drake, age 87, a resident of Wheaton since 1957, died Saturday, March 17 at the Central Du Page Hospital. She was born on May 24, 1919 in Sheldon, MO to Roy and Ethel Gordy.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Ted) Ballard of Winfield, two sons, Robert (Madge) Drake of West Chicago and Rodney (Sue) Drake of Carol Stream, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Ray Gordy of OH.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert J. Drake in 1982, a daughter, Linda Cox in 2002, her parents, and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gary Memorial United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., in Wheaton with Rev. E. Taveirne and Rev. Don Leo officiating. Interment is private.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Central Du Page Hospital, 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, IL 60190.
