Patricia A. Cregier, age 83, a longtime resident of Harwood Heights,
passed away peacefully, on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Sunrise
Assisted Living in Naperville, Illinois. She was born June 8, 1928 in
Chicago to Martin and Delia Cunningham. Patricia grew up in Chicago
and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She received a diploma in
nursing from St. Anne's in 1950. On June 21, 1958 she married Herbert
G. Cregier. Pat and Herb resided in Harwood Heights where they
raised four children. She worked as an RN for many years at Swedish
Covenant Hospital in Chicago. She was also an active member of St.
Eugene Parish in Chicago. Throughout her life Pat was always generous
and caring. She loved to help people. She is survived by three
children, Cathleen (Kier) Strejcek of Naperville, John (Jan) Cregier
of Bartlett, and Donna (Rich) Varno of TN, four grandchildren,
Lindsay, Courtney, Conor and Liam, one sister, Rita (Ken) Bigoness of
Harwood Heights and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Herb, her daughter, Mary Beth Cregier, her parents and
two sisters, May and Eileen Cunningham.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, from 11 am until
the time of a service at 1:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N.
Main St. in Wheaton. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in
Des Plaines, Illinois. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Fisher
