For My Dear Mother
With all her heart she gave me love;
She's blessed by Angels from above.
Not having much to call her own,
she still provided until I'd grown.
Her gentle, simple, caring ways,
yet until her final days.
Through all her pain she cast a smile;
She loved her family, there's no denial.
Even when she lived alone,
no demands on others was her tone.
If I could only be like her,
serving others, intentions pure.
The Lord has called her home today;
and in His glory she will stay.
Dear Mother now you pain no more,
I'll forever love you and adore.
- Michael
