Patricia A. Marx Johnson (nee Creel), daughter of the Late Col. Samuel Creel and Sonoa Findley Creel was born December 6, 1943 in Meridian, Mississippi. Patricia, a longtime resident of Wheaton, Illinois, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor passed June 6, 2021 surrounded by family.  Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Barrett Johnson Jr. and her sister Sandra Key.
Patricia is survived by her children; Melissa (Al Zalazinski) Marx, Barrett (Paula) Johnson III, Katherine Marx and David Marx; as well as her grandchildren: Jessica (Dan) Bavaro and Alyson Johnson, and great-grandson Danny Bavaro.

A private celebration of life will be held later this summer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Patricia's name to the Disabled American Veterans ( www.dav.org ).
