IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrice A.

March 23, 1966 – April 20, 2024
In loving memory of Patrice A. Boenzi, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2024, suddenly at her home in Geneva, IL. She was 58 years old.
Born on March 23, 1966, in Berwyn, IL, to Patrick and Christine Suriano, Patrice's life was a testament to faith, resilience, and boundless love.
Growing up in North Riverside, Patrice embraced her community with warmth and enthusiasm. She was a graduate of Komarek Grade School and Riverside Brookfield High School, where her passion for volleyball and diving flourished. It was during these formative years that she crossed paths with her soulmate, Frank Boenzi, whom she married on December 11, 1988.
Patrice's greatest joy was found in her roles as a devoted wife and mother. After the arrival of her children, she embarked on a journey of lifelong learning, earning an Associate Degree while nurturing her family with unwavering love and support. Her commitment to education extended beyond academia, as she imparted wisdom and kindness to all she encountered.
In her professional endeavors, Patrice's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly. From her successful tenure as a Realtor at Fathom Realty in Wheaton to her ventures in real estate investment alongside her beloved husband, she approached each opportunity with dedication and passion.
Patrice's generosity knew no bounds. Whether through her role as Children's Pastor and later as Associate Pastor and Executive Pastor at First Assembly of God in Wheaton, or through her involvement in the Motorcycle Safety Program at Northern Illinois University, she touched countless lives with her compassion and grace.
Above all, Patrice was a beacon of faith and love. She radiated love and faith in every aspect of her life. Her deep devotion to God was evident in her unwavering ability to see the good in others and her readiness to forgive, mirroring the compassion and grace of Christ. She lived her faith with authenticity, extending a helping hand to the underdog with boundless compassion, generosity, and grace. Her presence was a beacon of encouragement, always uplifting those around her with words of kindness and support. Above all, Patrice held her family and cherished relationships close to her heart, finding profound joy in the laughter and love shared with her beloved grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come. Patrice is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Boenzi, her loving children, Amanda (Jeff) Straggas, Frank J. (Maggie) Boenzi, Joe (Cassie Benner) Boenzi, and Jonathan (Sydney) Boenzi, her adored grandchildren, Tessa, Miriam, Micah, and Matthew, with one more on the way, her mother, Christine Suriano, and her siblings, Christine Suriano and Joseph Suriano.
