Pamela "Pam" Frost, age 90, a resident of Wheaton since 1969, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. She was born in Manchester, England on April 24, 1926 to Oliver and Elsie Heath.
As a child and young woman Pam was very involved in ballet and dance along with her sister Yvonne doing performances and recitals. After her education, Pam worked in the family clothing business in London. Through friends, she met Brian Frost after a rugby match. They were married on June 5, 1954. After immigrating to the United States in 1969, she became involved with numerous volunteer activities. She volunteered for over 30 years at DuPage Convalescent Center where she did ceramics and art, was a member of the Wheaton Garden Club, worked in the Trinity Episcopal Church Gift Shop and volunteered in the public schools where her children attended.
Throughout her life she had an ongoing love for classical music and was member of Art Institute of Chicago for many years. She and Brian enjoyed the concert series at Wheaton College and the Chicago symphony.
She is survived by her husband, Brian, two children, Carol Rehder of Wheaton and Tim (Fran) Frost of Melourne, FL, seven grandchildren, Rachel (Trent) Corey, Nathan Landstrom, Bianca Rehder, David Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Mike (Jen) Anderson and Cindy (Shawn) Miles, eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jack, Grace, Grant, Oliver, Acea, Quin and Melissa, two great-great-grandchildren, Naomi and Maddy, one sister, Yvonne Chapman of Dorchester, England and sister-in-law, Dianna Heath of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Douglas Heath.
A memorial visitation will be held Monday, September 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery on Tuesday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m.
