Pablo R. Najera's Obituary
Pablo R. Najera, age 66, a resident of Wheaton, died Saturday, January 17 at home. He was born January 25, 1942 in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
He was a licensed attorney in the Philippines and a Paralegal in Chicago before becoming a Deputy Law Clerk at the First District State of Illinois Appellate Court for thirteen years. He loved to tend to his vegetable garden, and to laugh with and cook for his friends and family. His quick and sincere smile will be missed by many.
He is survived by his new wife, Victoria of the Philippines; his daughter, Cecilia of Carol Stream; his sister, Damiana Naanep, and brother, Victorio Najera; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Teresita L. "Tess" Najera; and his sister, Josefina.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, and again on Friday, January 23, from 4-8 P.M. at Wheaton Bible Church, 27w500 North Avenue, in West Chicago, IL. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24, at 10:00 A.M. at Wheaton Bible Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
