Obituary

Oscar Reihl, known by his many friends as Mr. Music or Magic Fingers passed away at Central DuPage Hospital on Saturday, October 14th.

Oscar was a 53 year resident of Wheaton where he taught instrumental music for many years. He enjoyed traveling with the Wally Byam Caravan Club, and playing with the international band at rallies. He also played in the Wheaton Municipal Band, the DuPage Symphony, and for many local groups including the Kiwanis Club and Esse.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Reihl of Wheaton; son, Edgar Reihl of Northbrook; sister, Alice Heaslip; four nieces; and five nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 22nd at 2:00 P.M. in the sanctuary of Gary Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Ed Taveirne officiating. Interment is private at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.
