Olga S. Shufelt's Obituary
Olga Sylvia Shufelt, 94, of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, formerly of Minooka and Winona Lake, IN, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Windsor Park. She was born on August 5, 1916 in Chicago to Charles and Amanda Safstrom.
She was a member of Moody Church in Chicago for many years. She worked for the Winona Lake Christian Assembly in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Olga is survived by her children, Leta (Kenneth) Connor, Miriam (Joseph) Mogle and Kathleen (John) Welch; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward and her parents.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will be held on Satuday, Dec. 18 at 9:30 a.m. at Seward Mound Cemetery in Minooka. A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Dr., in Carol Stream, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Moody Church, 1635 N LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60614.
