Olga Caballero Gonzalez, age 71, a resident of Glendale Heights, IL, died August 23, 2018, at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Matanza, Cuba on November 29, 1946 to Marcos Caballero and Celena Gonzalez.
Olga met her husband Eleodoro in Havana, Cuba through her cousin Alba. It was love on first sight. Eleodoro pursed Olga then asked her parents for her hand in marriage. She moved to Havana, Cuba with her husband to San Miguel de pardon, where they had two daughters, Ileana and Neisy Alvarez. Olga dedicated her life to her family and worked from home as a seamstress. She made clothes for all of her family. Olga was a great daughter, sister, friend, mother, and wife. She served anyone who would need her.
Olga lived a rich life in a humble community. She raised her daughters to respect study and to care for all people that she showed by example. When her daughter, Neisy married her American husband in 2005, she and her daughter moved to the states. When Neisy became a citizen she petition for her parents. They arrived in the states July 19, 2012. They were once again with their daughters who are married with children. Eduardo and Neisy have two daughters, Kleidy and Natalie. Ileana and Daniel Jordan have one son Daniel jr. They lived a rich and humble life with their family and friends. Olga loved the Lord and showed it everyday of her life.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Highpoint Church Wheaton, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.
