Norma K Winchester's Obituary
Norma K. Winchester, age 72, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at home. She was born February 23, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN.
From an early age, she worked toward her goal of earning a degree in nursing, influenced by her Aunt Norma who was a nurse (who she was also named after). After leaving her post as Assistant Nursing Director at West Suburban Hospital, Hinsdale, she joined The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) and worked in the department that supported missionaries. She served her church as a reader and was very active in Bible Study and care ministries.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Winchester of Wheaton, IL; her sister, Cathy (Bob) Smith of Ellettsville, IN; and four great-nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at All Souls Anglican Church , 25W741 Jewell Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will private.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to American Porphyria Foundation , 4900 Woodway, Suite 780, Houston, TX 77056.
