Norma G. Felske, age 80, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born May 11, 1931 in Flint, MI.
Norma enjoyed reading, playing the piano and loved to travel. She especially loved her family and her grandchildren. She worked at Scripture Press Publications as an editor for over 30 years. She was always actively involved in her local church including Glen Ellyn Bible Church, Wheaton Bible Church and most recently attending College Church in Wheaton. She enjoyed attending Wheaton College soccer games and faithfully baked chocolate chip cookies for the team.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ed Felske; her two children, Pete (Jennifer) Felske of Wheaton, IL, and Pam (Bob) Neu of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren, Hayden Felske, and Sarah, Stephen and Matthew Neu; her brother, Ken Newton of Bridgeport, MI; her sister, Jane (Jim) Weatherwax of Fenton, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Buddy Newton.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
