Noralee M. Dworak, a resident of the DuPage Convalescent Center, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 on her 88th birthday. She was born on December 26, 1929 in Chicago to Rupert and Bernice Miller. She grew up in Chicago and Franklin Park.
Noralee worked as an executive secretary for Standard Oil. She married Andrew Dworak on May 5, 1951. They raised three daughters in Rolling Meadows and Villa Park, where they moved in 1964. She worked as a waitress for Marshal Fields in Oak Brook once her daughters were older.
She enjoyed reading, travel and visiting the north woods of Wisconsin.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori Dworak, Linda (Michael) Sherman, and Kimberly (Paul) Gillespie, all of West Chicago, her grandson, David (Ashley) Lewis and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Andrew and Alex. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, her parents and her brother Rupert Miller.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
