Nora Patricia Gohlke, age 81, a resident of Arlington Heights, IL, and formerly of Wheaton, IL for 40 years,died Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Northwest Community Hospital. She was born April 1, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Mary White.

Pat graduated from University of Detroit Mercy. She worked as Registered Renal Dietitian for Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, where she was a part of the transplant team. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, where she was a member of the JOY Group. She enjoyed music, reading, and following politics and the Chicago Bears and Cubs. She loved being with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Melissa) Gohlke of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Mary Beth Vines of Clarkston, MI; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph and Jacob. She is also survived by two siblings, Eugene (Barbara) White and Mary (Andy) Tardiff. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Elroy "El" Gohlke in 2016, and her parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 410 N. Cross Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private at Wheaton, Cemetery.
