Niruben Patel, age 85, a resident of Tinley Park, Illinois, passed away on June 22, 2026.

She was born on July 15, 1940, in Baroda, Gujarat, India, to Sitaben and Prahladbhai Patel.

She was deeply religious, steadfast in her faith, and devoted to her daily prayers and religious routines.

Niruben was among the first women in her region of India to complete her matriculation during the 1950s. She lived in the United States for more than 30 years. She was deeply religious, steadfast in her faith, and devoted to her daily prayers and religious routines. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Kaushikbhai Patel; her children, Sharmishtha and her husband Girish Patel, Kamlesh and his wife Gita Patel, Jayesh and his wife Nikila Patel, and Harsha and her husband Rushabh Patel; her grandchildren, Rachna, Aditi, Paulushi, Sohum, Dhruv, and Khusbu; and her great-grandchildren, Om, Rahi, Tanish, Tanishi, and Aryav. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Prahladbhai and Sitaben Patel, and her brother, Ashwin Patel.
