Nicholas Tameling, Jr.'s Obituary
Nicholas Tameling Jr., age 62, a resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Community Nursing and Rehab Center in Naperville, IL. He was born May 13, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Elizabeth Tameling.
Nicholas grew up in Wheaton and attended Wheaton Christian Grammar School, Wheaton Academy, Timothy Christian High School and Calvin College. He worked his whole career for the DuPage County Highway Department.
He is survived by three sisters, Joan Post, Edie Rooks and Betty Palmbos, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Peter Tameling and one sister, Hets Molenhouse-Hilt-Duncan.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wheaton Christian Reformed Church , 711 E. Harrison St., in Wheaton, IL. A reception will follow the service at church and will include a time of sharing among guests.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Wheaton Christian Grammar School ; or to Outreach Community Ministries , 122 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton, IL 60187.
