Neal A. O'Daniell, age 88, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, died Tuesday, March 25, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born May 11, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Neal served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as an instructor at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL. After the war he entered the printing business with family members. He was an active member at First Baptist Church of Elmhurst for 50 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening and the lapidary arts.
He is survived by his two children, Joyce Bunce of Champaign, IL, and Robert O'Daniell of Champaign, IL; and a granddaughter, Michelle Bunce also of Champaign, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn; five brothers, Earl, Elmo, Ivan, Noel, and Raymond O'Daniell; and his sister, Myrtle Lewis.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake, IL.
