Neal E. McKinney, age 74, a resident of Wheaton, passed away Tuesday, November 25, at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born June 28. 1934 in Herrin, IL.

Neal was known as an avid fisherman and loved to spend as much time as he could on the water. Some favorite fishing spots included Kentucky Lake in Kentucky, Crow Wing Lake in Minnesota, and even some spots in Canada. He was formerly a member at Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael (Lu Ping) McKinney of Tokyo, Japan, and Kevin (Cathy DeMara) McKinney of Wheaton, IL; two grandchildren, Miles and Dexter McKinney; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, and a sister.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 4 in Johnson City, IL.
