Naomi Carbonel, age 92, a resident of wheaton, IL died Tuesday, January 20, 2015, with her three daughters present. Naomi was born in Chicago, IL on October 19, 1922, and graduated Valedictorian from Austin High School in Chicago. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth, and enjoyed a long and loving life with him. She spent her life serving others. She worked as a secretary in the public school system and adored and cared for all the children who passed through her office. Her family, immediate and extended, and close friends were her passion. She was always supportive and ready to lend a hand, and brightened all the lives she touched. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Carbonel, brothers Henry and William Pfaff, sister Elaine Turner and brother-in-law Fred Turner.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Terry Belskey, Linda and Gust Rouhas, Janet and Lawrence Caminite; four grandchildren and spouses Kenneth and Theresa Belskey, Amy and Christopher Cherico, Emily and Luis Medal, and Alison Rouhas; her sister and brother-in-law Lori and Chuck Leach; and her godson Russell Pfaff; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 at Hultgren Funeral Home,304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
