Nancy P. Kern's Obituary
Nancy P. Kern, age 75, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, peacefully at home. She was born June, 1, 1935 in Oak Park, IL.
She is survived by her two children, Laurie (Dave) Scavotto of Wheaton, IL, and John Vacala of Columbia City, IN; two step-children, Kathy (Tim) Boyce, and Sue (Lou) Varchetto; three grandchildren, Nick and Joe Scavotto, and Sarah Vacala; and four step-grandchildren, Kyle and Mitchell Boyce, Samantha and Toni Varchetto.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Vacala; her second husband, Tom Kern; and her brother, Don Seps.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, from 3-7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
Memorial gifts may be directed to CNS Home Health and Hospice, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
