Nancy Fiddler, age 63, a resident of Hanover Park, died Tuesday, March 21, at home. She was born July 17, 1942 in Chicago.
Nancy worked for Awana International for a number of years. She served in the Awana programs at Mannheim Baptist Church, Medinah Baptist Church, and then later at Wheaton Bible Church, where she is a member. She later worked for Tyndale House Publishers, before joining her husband, John, at Austin Prosthetic Laboratory.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, Rev. Michael (Ann) Fiddler; grandson, Kevin; granddaughter, Kristen (Donald); two great-grandchildren, Trae, and Gracie; two sisters, Phyllis Rutherford, Patricia (Alphonse) Mitria; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Harold) Marcum, Kathy (Edward) Walters; brother-in-law, Bruce (Carol) Fiddler; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Millbrandt; brother, William Millbrandt; and brother-in-law, Frank Rutherford.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, at 11:00 A.M. at Wheaton Bible Church, Main and Franklin Streets. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery in Chicago.
