With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Helen Evans, a devoted mother, compassionate caregiver, and gentle soul, who left us peacefully on August 29, 2025, at the age of 61 after a brave battle with cancer. She spent her final days at Accent Care in Naperville, where she was surrounded by her family and the kindness and support of an exceptional staff.

Born on March 23, 1964, Nancy dedicated her life to nurturing others, both professionally and personally. Her work in the childcare industry was a reflection of her deep love for children and her unwavering belief in the power of care and connection. She was known for her warmth, her generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel safe and loved.

Nancy was the proud mother of one son, Nicholas Pfaff Evans, who was her greatest joy and source of strength. Her love was unconditional, her spirit gentle, and her heart open to all. She was, in every sense, a lover not a fighter always choosing empathy and kindness over conflict.

Nancy's legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A Memorial service will be held on September 27th at 1 PM at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187.
