Nancy Ann Underhill Dick, 95, of Wheaton, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 27, 2024 at Brighton Gardens in Wheaton. Nancy was born on September 29, 1929 in Elgin, IL and was the youngest child born to Jeanette and George Underhill. She married Werner Kure Dick on September 9, 1949 and they were married for 73 years.

Nancy and Werner were founding and long-time members of Pleasant Hill Community Church in Wheaton and Nancy served as church librarian for most of her time there. She was also one of the organizers of the Evangelical Church Library Association, and served as secretary/treasurer for many years, helping organize the yearly conference and publishing Librarian's World magazine.

In addition to her passion for books, and her love of collecting them, Nancy dearly loved dogs. She was an avid knitter which resulted in lots of sweaters to remember her with.  She also loved music and loved singing in the church  choir and performing duets with her good friend Nancy at Pleasant Hill Church.

Nancy is survived by son David Dick (Diane), daughters Kathleen Rudolph, Susan Daggett, and Sally Lewis (Chuck), and grandchildren Sarah Daggett(Joe), Christopher Daggett, Chuck Lewis, Jr. (Megan), Steven Lewis (Tessa), , David Dick, Jr., Daniel Dick, great granddaughter Aftyn and sister Georjean (Jo) Moyer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Werner, her brother, George, and her parents.

There will be a family only private burial.
