Nancy A. Ball, age 75, a resident of Wheaton, IL, entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 2, 2022.  She was born December 21, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Austin & Marion Fitch.

Nancy grew up in Chicago with her two sisters. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in education. Continuing her studies at Concordia University, she received a masters degree in education. After completing her education, she married and had two children, Janelle & Jason. After teaching for years, she went on to become an escrow officer for First American Title where she retired after 25+ years of service.

Nancy's love for Jesus was immense, serving as an instructor for Crossroads Bible ministries, volunteering at the Illinois Youth Center and answering calls for Christ at the Billy Graham Telephone Ministry for nearly 20 years. For 12 years Nancy also ran a dinner Bible study and ministry out of her home called Open Arms Fellowship with an Open House each year.

She was an excellent gardener and loved all growing things. With her daughter Janelle, Nancy was very involved with animal rescue at Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary, voluneering at many events and fostering pets for several years. All her pets were rescues as well.

Generous and patient, Nancy would always help a friend or anyone down on their luck.

She is survived by her daughter, Janelle Ball; her two sisters Judith (the late Robert) Moskal & Susan (David) Tipton. Also survived by numerous cousins including Claudia Vasquez of Redding, CA and several nieces & nephews including her niece Allison Austin of Los Angeles, CA.

She was preceded in death by her son Jason Ball and her parents.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N.
