Myrtle V. Wagner, age 93, a resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, died November 27, 2013, on what would have been Myrtle and Robert's 70th wedding anniversary, in Winfield, Illinois. She was born May 2, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Clara Gardstrom.

She was an accomplished seamstress, and won many awards for her quilts.

She will be deeply missed by her 2 daughters, Barbara (William) Attaway and Sandra Wagner; 2 granddaughters, Clare E. Dixon, and Jane A. (Kyle) Kemper; 2 great-grandchildren, Ella Jane Kemper and Evan David Kemper; her brother Robert (Ruth) Gardstrom; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wagner, her sister, Margaret Olson, and her brother-in-laws Irving Olson and Glenn Wagner.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois 60187 where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Blue Island, Illinois.
