Miriam L. Wareham's Obituary
Miriam L. Wareham, age 86, a fourteen year resident of the Wyndemere Retirement Community in Wheaton, and formerly of Glen Ellyn, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at her home in Wyndemere's Westbridge Assisted Living. She was born June 29, 1921 in Renovo, PA.
Miriam grew up in Jamestown, NY. She graduated with honors in the class of 1950 from Wheaton College. She worked as a piano teacher from her home, as a Kindergarten teacher for the Marquardt School District for fifteen years, and for Nissen Realtors for fifteen years.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Holly) Wareham of Cannon Falls, MN, and Mary (Ronald) Olson of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and her brother, David Allison.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley Morse in 1944, and Bill Wareham in 1996.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 1:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
Memorial gifts may be directed to First Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1310 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187; or to Wheaton College, 501 College Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187; or to the charity of your choice.
