Obituary

We are sad to announce that Milton C. Lohner Jr., age 80, a resident of North Aurora, IL, passed away on Thursday October 19, 2023 at Asbury Gardens (North Aurora).  He was born July 2, 1943 in Chicago, IL.  His biggest joy in life was being a father to his only son, Jason.

Mickey was fond of many things including boating and water skiing, which he shared with his father Milton Sr. at their business Lohner Boat and Motor Sales on Elston Ave. in Chicago, IL. during the 1950's and 60's. He would water ski fully clothed, launching off the pier and fully confident he would remain dry and finish his run walking onto the beach. In his earlier years he developed a love for Skydiving as well, and he once completed 30 jumps in a single day.

Mickey was passionate about both music and dancing. He could name the artist and title of just about any song he heard and would win many prizes doing so while out on the Chain O'Lakes.  He may have also upset his father at times playing the same record over and over, to the point he wore out the wax rather quickly on some of his records that he enjoyed so much.

As many would say, if you knew Mickey, you for sure had a good time!!

He was loved and cherished by many people including his parents, Milton Carl Lohner Sr. and Ursula F. Lohner; his son Jason Edward Lohner (Jessica); his step-children with his first wife Patricia Helen Lohner, Kimberley Wallace and Tracey Lewkowicz (Robert); most importantly his grandchild Jackson Ford Lohner; his loving sister Suzanne Lorraine Elliott and her husband, his beloved brother-in-law Joseph Eugene Elliott; his nieces and nephews Virginia Dudzinski (Ray), Karen Elliott-Bonatz, Scott Elliott (Rose), Todd Elliott (Dawn Smaron), Kip Elliott (Collette), Troy Elliott (Arlene) and Chad Elliott (Melanie).

Preceded in death by his wife Diron S. Lohner.  Diron had two children fond of Mickey; Hillari Lube (Manny) and her son Robert.
