"Millie" K. Busse, age 90, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was born October 11, 1927 in Garner, Iowa to Henry and Augusta Busse.

Millie grew up on a farm near Mason City, Iowa with her parents and two sisters. She graduated from the Hamilton School of Commerce where she learned shorthand. After working for a time, she moved to Chicago to attend the Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 1952. Millie did secretarial work at Morgan Park Baptist Church, Wycliffe Bible Translators and for a subsidiary of the Oscar Mayer Company. She then moved to Colorado Springs to join Young Life as the Secretary to the President.

Through a friend she learned of position at ServiceMaster. She went on to work as Executive Assistant to Chuck Stair and worked with him for 27 years.

Millie enjoyed travel, visiting Japan, Brazil, Costa Rica, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Greece and Turkey. Her faith was central to her life and she was an active member of Wheaton Bible Church. She enjoyed listening to music, walking, reading, and doing crossword puzzles and needlework.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Park. Private interment will be at Wheaton Cemetery.
