Mildred M. Von Busch, nee Hite, age 98, a resident of Des Plaines, died suddenly, Tuesday, August 25. She was born on September 19, 1910 in Bladen, NE to Clarence and Clara Hite.
She was married to Charles (Carl) Von Busch in Bladen in 1929. They had three children, Melvin, Eleanor, and Leo.
She was a longtime member of the Lake View Free Church of Chicago, which later became the Edgebrook Free Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Weiberg, son Leo Von Busch, daughter in law Sonja Von Busch and her sister Opal Hite. She had 9 grandchildren, Karen Blanchard, David, Daniel, Dale Von Busch, Chip Weiberg, Laura Bandemer, Melissa Blue, Bruce and Peter Von Busch and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl after 73 years of marriage, her son Melvin, son in law Ted Weiberg, daugher in law Sandra Von Busch, sister Zelma Von Busch and brother Ralph Hite.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 7 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
