Mildred L. Kuefler, age 92, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in Yorkville. She was born March 18, 1913 in Millbrook, IL.
Mrs. Kuefler was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, a former member of the Du Page Farm Bureau Homemakers Association, and member of Du Page Farm Bureau. Mildred worked as a floral designer for Schefflers Florist in Wheaton for many years. She retired to help in her husband's landscaping business and become a full time homemaker.
She is survived by two children, Edward P. (Susan) Kuefler, Jr. of Plano, and Lucille (Richard) Tesnow of Yorkville; 4 grandchildren, Robert (Cynthia) Tesnow, Edward Tesnow, Amy (Mark) Johnson, and Kelly Prestegaard; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edward Kuefler and two sisters, Millicent Reuter and Pauline Logan.
Visitation will be Friday, July 15, from 3 - 8 P.M. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton. Funeral mass will be Saturday, 10 A.M. at St. Mark Catholic Church, E. Cole St., Wheaton. Prayers from the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.
