Michiko "Miko" Kobayashi Brewer, 76, of Oak Brook Terrace, IL survived by two sons Brent (48) and Kurt (41) and grandchildren Ella, Sofia and Kingston, passed away on February 25th 2024 peacefully and with her sons by her side.

Born on March 5th 1947 in Saitama Japan, Miko moved to the Chicagoland area and married United States Navy veteran Jay R Brewer until he passed away in 1987. Miko was a devoted mother for over 40 years. She loved to garden, cook and dance but she was most passionate about taking great care of the people she loved. She will always be known for her kindness, fiery spirit and selflessness. Miko always put others before herself, even though she was small, she had an enormous heart.

A memorial service will be held on March 5th 2024 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren funeral home 304 N. Main St. Wheaton, IL 60187. In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks that those who are able to, make a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association www.lbda.org
